What Is Biokinetics?
Biokinetics is an allied health profession that specialises in exercise therapy and is supported by most medical aids.
Biokinetics uses exercise and movement as the main form of treatment in:
- Injury rehabilitation
- Preventative health care
- Improvement of physical ability
- Performance enhancement
What Does A Biokineticist Do?
A biokineticist improves a person’s physical status and quality of life through individualised assessment, and exercise prescription in the context of clinical pathology (acute and chronic) and performance enhancement. We correct muscle imbalances and movement patterns.
Biokinetics provides a long term solution to pain and injury and focuses on the cause of the injury and not only the symptoms.
What makes our practice unique?
Our practice is centrally located in Secunda with easy access to people of all abilities. Our practice is situated inside a state of the art gym facility, where we can offer from the most basic rehabilitation techniques to final phase strengthening and conditioning.
